Killybegs take honours in Southern Minor Division 2 final against Ardara

Killybegs made home advantage count in the Southern Minor Division 2 final on Wednesday evening with a comfortable win over Ardara.


Killybegs 1-10   Ardara 0-6


The home side were always in control and led by 0-7 to 0-4 at the break.  A goal from Eoin Mulligan was the big difference in the second half scoring.

On a perfect evening for football, Killybegs had home advantage because they won a toss.

Both sides were missing their Donegal minor squad panellists.

Killybegs, who are managed by Eugene Mulligan, Jimmy White, Arthur Meehan and Callum Quinn, will now meet Carndonagh in the county semi-final on Sunday in O’Donnell Park, with Letterkenny Gaels awaiting the winners in the county final.
