Shaun Paul Barrett is set to be installed as the new manager of the Donegal Under-20 footballers.
Barrett’s name is likely to be put to club delegates on Monday night at the next meeting of the Donegal County Committee in Convoy.
The Milford man had a previous spell as Donegal Under-20 manager in 2020 when they lost to Tyrone in the Ulster final.
Barrett - the father of Republic of Ireland international Amber - also guided Donegal to the Ulster MFC crown in 2020.
He is currently coaching the Donegal IFC champions Downings but is poised to be ratified as Leo McLoone’s successor on Monday night.
His son Luke has also had a stint as Donegal Under-20 manager and he was recently confirmed as part of Jim McGuinness’s backroom team with the senior football squad.
