Yvonne Bonner and the Adelaide Crow’s 2023 AFLW campaign came to a heartbreaking end after going down 31-31 to North Melbourne by one point in its Preliminary Final at IKON Park on Sunday morning.
Ultimately, inaccuracy cost Adelaide, but it was a brave performance and another fine season from the minor premier and perennial powerhouse of the AFLW.
North Melbourne will play Brisbane in next week's NAB AFLW Grand Final.
Glenfin’s Bonner was the last Donegal representative in the running for the AFLW’s top honour with Tanya Kennedy, Sydney Swans, and Niamh McLaughlin, Gold Coast Suns, eliminated in the earlier rounds.
