Two Donegal players selected to represent Ireland Masters against Aussies

Two Donegal players have been selected to represent Ireland Masters against the AFL Masters Australian team when the sides meet next year.


After recent trials in Mullingar, Conor McShane, formerly of Kilcar and now Four Masters, has been selected on the Over-40s team while Paul Gallagher, Naomh Muire, Lower Rosses, has been selected for the Irish Over -50s side.


Ireland Masters will take on the Aussies in two tests in Galway and Cavan in 2024.


There will be further Donegal involvement as Donegal Masters GAA manager, Mark Cannon, is part of the Irish Over-50 management team.


The management teams for both squads have been selected:


Over 40s management:
Anthony McCarthy (Limerick)
Jimmy Galligan (Cavan)
Ronan Rocks (Derry)

Over 50s management:
Anthony Carroll (Roscommon)
Kevin Hourican (Leitrim-Longford)
Mark Cannon (Donegal)
Rob Stewart (Cork)
