Brendan Rogers of Derry blocks a shot by Ciaran Thompson of Donegal during the GAA Football All-Ireland Senior Championship Round 2 match last June
Donegal and Derry are headed for an eye-catching Ulster SFC quarter-final clash at Celtic Park in April - but they'll get a go at one another in the Dr McKenna Cup final next weekend.
The sides will meet at O'Neill's Healy Park in Omagh at 5pm on Saturday in Ulster's curtain-raising competition. Donegal qualified for the final following a fine win over Monaghan in Castleblayney, winning out 4-14 to 0-11, while Derry - the back-to-back Ulster champions - saw off Armagh 0-17 to 2-7 on Saturday. The meeting will be the first clash of Jim McGuinness and Mickey Harte since 2013. Derry welcome Donegal on April 21 in the Ulster SFC.
