Dungloe boss Dessie Gallagher
Dungloe GAA have confirmed that Dessie Gallagher will remain as manager of the Rosses club for the 2025 season.
Gallagher succeeded Robert Weherly in the post at Rosses Park back in January 2021 and in his first season in charge he guided his side to a Donegal Intermediate Championship final, only to lose after a replay to Cloughaneely.
The Dungloe club would go one better the following season when they won the second-tier championship beating Naomh Columba in the final on a 1-8 to 0-4 scoreline.

Perhaps the club's best season under Gallagher came in 2024 when he guided Dungloe to the final of the Donegal senior championship, their first since 1964, only to lose out to Barry Meehan’s St Eunan’s on a 1-13 to 1-10 scoreline.
Dungloe will begin their 2025 season in Division 2 with Gallagher maintaining his same backroom team as previous seasons with Ronan Brennan, Jamie Sweeney, Manus Brennan, Tommy Grannell, and Stephen Gallagher all staying on with the senior side.
