Damian Devaney was ratified as manager at the Ardara AGM on Saturday night.
Damian Devaney has been installed for another year as manager of the Ardara senior football team.
Devaney had his first year at the helm of Ardara in 2021.
Ardara preserved their senior championship status via a relegation play-off win over Glenswilly.
. That came after a group phase that became mired in some controversy when Bundoran submitted an objection after an opening game defeat to Ardara.
The Bundoran club argued that Ardara made more substitutions, six, than the permitted five. However, an Ardara appeal against the decision of the Donegal CCC to grant a replay was upheld by the Ulster Council.
Devaney succeeded Adrian Brennan at Pearse Memorial Park.
Prior to his involvement with the Donegal ladies as joint manager with Maxi Curran in 2018, Devaney was the Donegal ladies team trainer in 2017.
Devaney has also managed Na Rossa in 2015 and Sean MacCumhaills in 2016.
His reappointment at Ardara was confirmed at Saturday night’s annual general meeting.
