Donegal GAA chiefs expect the full house signs to be posted at O’Donnell Park for Sunday’s Allianz League Division 1 game against Armagh.

The Letterkenny venue can cater for 8,000 supporters - and the indications are that it will be a sell-out.

“Nothing beats being there and a sell-out crowd is expected,” a Donegal GAA spokesperson said.

“Generally online purchase of tickets peaks at the weekend but indications Friday morning were that around 70% of the roughly 8,000 tickets were already sold.

“CLG Dhún na nGall encourage all supporters intending to go to the game to get their tickets sooner rather than later as they will sell out over the next couple of days.”

Supporters are reminded that no cash will be accepted at the turnstile and tickets must be purchased in advance.

The link to purchase tickets can be found on www.donegalgaa.ie or at selected Centra and SuperValu stores.

Donegal are still battling to avoid relegation heading into this weekend. Victory will secure Donegal’s top flight berth. Anything else and the eyes will focus on games elsewhere.

Declan Bonner has called on the Donegal support to make their presence heard.

He said: “It looks like there will be a big crowd in from Armagh. There’ll be a real Championship feel to the game with a lot at stake and a big crowd.

“There will be stages in the game where Armagh will be in the ascendancy and we need the supporters to get behind us and be the 16th man for us.”
