Donegal who played Tyrone in the All-Ireland Masters championship in Convoy earlier this month
The draws for the respective All-Ireland Masters Championships have been made.
Donegal won their first first group games against Cavan, Louth, Down, Sligo and London before losing out to Tyrone in their last. That meant a play-off against Dublin for a place in the Dr Mick Loftus Cup, with Donegal losing out on a 4-13 to 1-8 scoreline.
Therefore, Donegal enter the Shield competition where they have been paired with Kildare. The other last four tie sees Galway take on Roscommon.
Dates and venues will be confirmed by the weekend, with the default dates being Saturday week, August 20. Counties may arrange for an earlier date where it suits both sides.
