The R230 Gleann Gheis Road is blocked for resurfacing today, Tuesday October 28, and tomorrow, Wednesday.
The works will take place from the N-56 / R-230 Gleann Gheis Road Junction to just beyond Breacaigh (Brackey) National School. The works are expected to take two days to complete.

"These works have been programmed in to coincide with the Halloween school holidays," Donegal County Council say. "The road will be blocked to traffic during the works and appropriate diversion signage will be erected to advise motorists. Local traffic is advised to travel via the An Machaire Road whereas HGV’s from/to Gleann Cholm Cille direction are advised to travel along the R-263 to Na Cealla Beaga (Killybegs) and onto the N-56 to Ard an RÁtha (Ardara)."
