Wrap up, the rain is coming back

Thunderstorms and heavy downpours of rain were reported in most parts of Donegal since last night. 

Sunday afternoon and evening will see a further risk of heavy showers and some hail with thunderstorms again. 

Today, Sunday, January 8 will also see a mix of sunny spells and showers throughout the day. Some of the showers may turn heavy with a chance of hail and thunder. Remaining breezy at times with mainly moderate to fresh south-westerly or variable winds. Highest temperatures of 6 to 9 degrees.

Tonight

Breezy with further scattered showers tonight, some of which may turn heavy. Lowest temperatures of 1 to 4 degrees in fresh westerly winds.

Tomorrow - Monday, January 9

Another day of sunny spells and scattered showers. Highest temperatures of 6 to 9 degrees in moderate to fresh westerly winds.
