Castlefin gears up for a unique event next Sunday

A unique event, 'Around the Town', will take place in St. Mary's Hall in Castlefin next Sunday, February 19 at 5pm. This event has been organised by representatives from several groups in the town who have been working together behind the scenes to plan the evening.

The aim is to showcase all the voluntary groups and different facilities around Castlefin town. The past few years have seen many families moving or returning to the area. Covid-19 resulted in many groups having to stop their activities but now are getting back to normal.

This event will hopefully inform the community about what's going on around Castlefin, a small town that has a great community spirit. This event should also be of interest to those who have been residents in the area but may just not be aware of what is available or would like to rejoin a group.

This is a social event where there will be over 25 tables manned by volunteers providing information on all the different groups and activities.

You are invited to go along and see what is on your doorstep. You never know what hobbies or groups you might see that you would like to take up for 2023! Refreshments will be served and there will also be local entertainment. This event is open to everyone of all ages.
