Proposed site in Ballyshannon
Donegal County Council has granted planning permission for the development of six dwelling house units in Ballyshannon.
Conditional planning was granted for the development, which is planned for a site next to Station Road in Ballyshannon, near the N15. The development would have a connection to public sewer and storm systems, as well as all associated site development works.
All of the houses built in the development are planned to be three-bed properties, and 12 car parking spaces would be provided.

Donegal County Council granted permission for the application with 21 conditions, including a condition that the applicant shall pay a contribution of €6,074.13 in respect of public infrastructure and facilities benefiting development in the area of the Planning Authority that is already provided or is intended to be provided by the Authority.
Another condition as part of the granted application, was that before commencement of the development, the developer shall provide adequate security in the sum of €30,000, to the Planning Authority for the provision and completion of all services, paid in the form of either a bond of a banking or insurance company acceptable to the Planning Authority, a cash deposit, or any such other security as the Council may approve.
