Gardaí in Letterkenny are appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision in the early hours of this morning.
At approximately 1am this morning, two cars were involved in a collision in an area known as Corravaddy approximately four miles from Letterkenny.
Three young people - two males and one female - were pronounced dead at the scene.
Another male was seriously injured and has been taken to Letterkenny University Hospital.
The scene is currently closed to traffic and diversions are in place.
Garda forensic collision investigators have been requested to examine the scene and the local coroner has been notified.
A garda spokesperson said nvestigations are ongoing and no further information is available at this stage.
