This weekend, the Olde Castle Bar & Restaurant, Donegal Town is hosting a fundraiser for the RNLI Lifeboats.

As part of a national sponsored "Fish Supper" campaign the Olde Castle Bar will donate half the price of all Seafood Chowder and their ever popular Beer Battered Fish and Chips sold over next weekend to the RNLI. Seoirse O Toole, proprietor, said: "We are delighted to take part in this fundraiser. Our restaurant relies on Donegal fishermen putting themselves at risk on a daily basis to supply the freshest catch for our customers and when needed the RNLI crew are always there to help. We all appreciate the tremendous work they do on a voluntary basis."

Thanks to Alister McCrea of Starcrest Seafood and Michael O'Donnell of Albatros Seafood for their support.
