Who do you think will win Donegal senior final?

Democrat Jury has it 11-1 in favour of Kilcar

Who do you think will win Donegal senior final?

Kilcar and Glenswilly captains Gary McFadden and Ciaran McGinley

Who do you think will win tomorrow's Donegal senior final between Glenswilly and Kilcar.

Kilcar are odds on favourites, but will it turn out that way. Could there be a twist.

Below you can see that the Donegal Democrat jury have a clear cut winner, Kilcar by 11-1.

But who do you think will win it and what will be the winning margin or score?

Frank McGlynn, Glenfin

Kilcar are the form team. They looked very impressive against Naomh Conaill, though I was a little surprised that Naomh Conaill went man to man.

If  there is a team capable of stopping Kilcar it is Glenswilly. You have the Michael Murphy and Neil Gallagher factor and they will pack the defence.

It is also a case of the pace of Kilcar versus the physicality of Glenswilly.

Verdict:  Glenswilly

Eamonn McGee, Gaoth Dobhair

Everybody is going for Kilcar and it would be a brave man that would back Glenswilly. But Glenswilly have been in a good few finals in the last few years and they have won one. And of course they have Michael (Murphy) and Big Neil (Gallagher) and Gary Copper (McFadden) who is playing well. But for me they will have too many fires to put out on the day.

Verdict: Kilcar

Martin O’Reilly, Sean MacCumhaills

Kilcar are  the form team in the county in both the league and the championship and favourites. But I  do give Glenswilly a chance.  They are a championship team and when they do open up and go for it they can clock up big scores. The only worry for them from our game is that we scored 1-14 against them. Weather and ground conditions could also be a factor.

Verdict: Kilcar

Shaun Sharkey, Dungloe

Going on form it is difficult to see anything other than a Kilcar win. But Glenswilly have been there before and they know what it is all about. I suppose that is the big question; how Kilcar will react to the big day? I expect Glenswilly to pack the defence, but the problem they have in that scenario is I don’t think they have the pace to break at speed.

Verdict: Kilcar

Dermot ‘Brick’ Molloy

It is an interesting pairing. Kilcar are hungry and have not won the championship for 23 years. Glenswilly are appearing in their fifth final since 2007 and are hurting from losing the 2014 final. It will all come down to the big players on both teams and how they perform. It is is hard to look past Kilcar because they seem to have more potential matchwinners than Glenswilly.

Verdict: Kilcar

Hugh McFadden, Killybegs

I thought ahead of the semi-final if  Naomh Conaill were to score an early goal it would put Kilcar to the test. But they passed that test with flying colours and came from five points down against Naomh Conaill. I don’t think that Glenswilly should be written off the way they are being. With Michael (Murphy) and big Neil (Gallagher) Glenswilly are capable of causing on an upset.

Verdict: Kilcar

Paddy McGrath, Ardara

Kilcar’s pace and off-the-ball running really opened up Naomh Conaill in the semi-final. They are a quality side. Glenswilly may be able to come up with a plan to curb Patrick McBrearty, but the problem with that is that Stephen McBrearty or Eoin McHugh or Ryan McHugh will step up. And they also have Mark McHugh, Michael Hegarty and Ciaran McGinley who are also big men in the team.

Verdict: Kilcar

Martin McElhinney, St Michaels

I don’t think it is going to be as easy for Kilcar as most people seem to think. Glenswilly are a very experienced championship outfit. This is their fifth final in ten seasons. I wouldn’t read too much into their league form, they are a championship team. I think they will struggle with Kilcar’s pace and I don’t think they will be able to hold all of Kilcar’s big men.

Verdict: Kilcar

Rory Kavanagh, St Eunan’s

A lot is being made of the fact that Glenswilly have come through from the easier side of the draw. Glenswilly are a dogged team with loads of county final experience. Obviously Neil (Gallagher) and Michael (Murphy) are their big men. Kilcar will struggle to match Neil in the air and if Michael plays inside he will pose problems. However, Kilcar are the form team and it is hard to look past them.

Verdict: Kilcar

Barry Dunnion, Four Masters

It is an interesting final. Kilcar are the form team and Glenswilly have been there before and have won a final.

If Kilcar’s big players perform it is hard to see anything other than a Kilcar win. But I expect it to be close. Glenswilly have Michael Murphy and Neil Gallagher and they will be well set defensively and I can see no more than two or three points in it.

Verdict: Kilcar

James Keaney Bundoran

Kilcar just have more options. Glenswilly in trouble if Michael Murphy not working inside. Kilcar have a lot more. Glenswillly were very impressive against us, but we didn't turn up on the day and we beat them in league. Against Kilcar, I felt we played well but got a big hammering. If it is tight with ten minutes to go, Glenswilly will have a chance.

Verdict: Kilcar

Sylvester Maguire Ballyshannon

Well, it looks very much like Kilcar. They are playing the best football that I have seen; unbelievably fast football off the shoulder. If Glenswilly sit back and admire them, they could be wiped, but I don't expect that. If Murphy and Neilly Gallagher are fully fit, I give them a chance, but all indications point to a Kilcar victory.

Verdict: Kilcar
