The Seven Seas Grandeur docked in Greencastle.

The Regent cruise ship arrived on its inaugural visit at Foyle Port at 6:30am from Killybegs Harbour. The ship will be docked there until 5:00pm, when it will depart for Belfast Port.

“Big news in the village today, a whole boatload of Americans have just arrived to tour our wee Irish coast,” Green Beans Coffee Company said. “If you’re hanging about, come down for a nosey - it’s not every day you see a floating hotel bigger than the town itself.”

Built in 2023, the Seven Seas Grandeur is 224m long, GT 55254, which carries 825 guests and 540 crew with 13 Decks, operated by Regent Seven Seas Cruises.

“We hope all onboard have a great day visiting the area and enjoy the rest of their cruise. We welcome the ship back to visit again,” Aerial Vision NI said.
