Nurse Connie-Ann Hession is taking part in the London marathon next month
A coffee morning with fun for all the family is taking place in Clonmany to support a local woman who is taking part in the London marathon.
Nurse Connie-Ann Hession is taking part in the marathon next month to raise funds for the Foyle Hospice in Derry which supported her grandfather in his final days.
“Foyle Hospice has a special place in my heart as they supported my Grandad Connie in his final days,” she posted.
“As a nurse, I see first-hand how important it is for patients and their relatives to have somewhere to go in their final days that can provide them with comfort and dignity.
“Foyle Hospice is one of only four main hospices in Northern Ireland. They rely heavily on donations to provide the amazing care they do, and I want to play my part in helping them. I would really appreciate all donations of any amount, thank you.”
