The Women in Sport Own It Workshop is coming to Letterkenny

Cairn Community Games are hosting Our Women's Network Own It session in collaboration with Move2B in Letterkenny.

These workshops highlight the importance of Women in Sport and give those interested in and already involved in local Cairn Community Games Areas an opportunity to gain knowledge and awareness of Cairn Community Games.

This event will take place on Saturday, February 28 from 11am-2pm in the Station House Hotel, Letterkenny, Donegal, F92 ERV1.

This session will include: Move2B Women In Sport Workshop, vetting information and guidelines, a Q&A session and guidance to establishing and re-establishing areas.

Move2B is a purpose driven organisation on a mission to ensure girls and female athletes feel that sport and physical activity have a place for them. During this workshop, attendees will gain an understanding of the current landscape of sports in Ireland, female physiology, best methods to support female athletes, changing cultural narratives and be provided with practical steps to get started.

Anyone who is interested in being involved in helping to inspire the next generation of female athletes, through coaching, volunteering or establishing their local Cairn Community Games area are very welcome. Please register your interest here
