Demonstration in Letterkenny today Friday at 12 noon
Today, Friday, January 6 is the first Palestine demonstration in Co Donegal in 2023.
The event is being organised by the Donegal Palestine, Interfaith for Palestine and Peace & Justice 4 Palestine group.
A spokesperson outlined the reasons for their protest.
"Every first Friday of the month there will be a peaceful interfaith demonstration for Palestine in Letterkenny. The venue is the Tesco Roundabout between 12 midday and 2pm.
"We especially invite refugees, ethnic minorities and other marginalized groups to join us.
"A brief interfaith prayer service will be held for Palestinians and all other victims of Genocide and military occupation today.
"If you are unable to join us, please offer a prayer for the Palestinians and their Jewish persecutors."
