Volunteers working in St Mary's Hall
The soaring cost of living and with many families finding it difficult to make ends meet has ignited action from the Castlefin community who united and set up a School Uniform Swap Shop.
The shop will be open from noon until 3pm today in St Mary's Hall.

The shop is set up to assist families with the costs of getting their children and teenagers back to school. An RTÉ report yesterday evening said that the response to the shop has been phenomenal.
Families can donate uniforms they no longer need and pick up uniforms that they do need. The idea for the swap shop is that of local Sinn Féin Councillor Gary Doherty and St Vincent de Paul's Noeleen Killen.
Volunteers have been sorting uniforms for over twenty years.
Ms Killens said the cost of everything is so expensive and getting a uniform will help take the pressure off some families.
Cllr Doherty said that at this time of year people are under pressure with household bills.
