Last year the award was given to the people of Creeslough following the Creeslough tragedy of 2022
The Donegal Association have confirmed they will announce the 2023 Donegal Person of the Year in Rose’s Bar in Creeslough.
The announcement will be made on Saturday, February 10, with things getting underway at 8pm.
“All are welcome to attend,” they said. “We sincerely hope that you can join us on what is always a very special night.”
Last year the award was given to the people of Creeslough following the Creeslough tragedy, with winners in recent years including hotelier Noel Cunningham, Jason Black, Shay Given, Stephen McCahill, Deirdre McGlone, Moya Doherty, Liam Ó Cuinneagáin snd Jim McGuinness.
The Gala Ball will then take place in The Bonnington Hotel, Dublin on Saturday, April 6, from 6.30pm.
