Smoke from the fire rises on Wednesday night
Fire crews brought a blaze under control on the outskirts of Manorcunningham under control on Wednesday night.
Smoke billowed from the fire, which broke out in large sheds in the Rossbracken area.
The blaze was attended to by the Donegal Fire Service while An Garda Siochana were also present.
The fire, at a former business premises, sent thick smoke billowing into the sky. Householders in the area had to close doors and windows to keep the fumes away.
For miles, the smell of burning material hung in the air.
There are not reported to be any injuries from the incident.
