Wheelchairs are available at a number of Donegal beaches
Starting this summer there will be a beach accessible wheelchair and hoist at Murvagh beach.
The official launch of the chair will take place this coming Friday May, 3 at 3pm in the main car park.
A spokespers for Friends of Murvagh Beach said: "All members of the public, media, local councillors and various department representatives from within DCC are invited to this event which will have a life changing impact for those living with a disability.
"This will allow them to experience the beach and water in a way never offered before at Murvagh.
"More to come on how booking appointments for the chair will work in the coming weeks.
"A very special thanks to Michelle Travers, a dedicated member of the Friends of Murvagh Beach (FOMB) committee, for working diligently with the various agency's to get our first ever chair for Murvagh beach.
"Looking forward to seeing everyone on Friday!"
