Sea Sessions is back in the heart of Bundoran after a sabbatical to Tullan Strand Road last year
Now in its 15th year, Sea Sessions Surf and Music Festival have just announced that due to “phenomenal demand” they are relocating back to an area right beside the resort’s main beach in Bundoran, after they moved up to Tullan Strand Road last year.
In previous years, from its very inception it was located at the resort's main car park, near the town's main beach beside what was once the old Astoria ballroom.
It is understood that some local businesses had expressed that the Tullan Strand location in 2023 was a little bit out of town and further away from the actual heartbeat and rhythm of the resort's surfing and beach soul.
The organisers said:
“Yep, that’s right, we’re back in the centre of town, right beside the beach.
“Due to phenomenal demand we’re hauling the whole circus down from Tullan Strand and back into town”
“We can’t wait, it’s getting close,” they confirmed.
Sea Sessions headliners this year include blk., Cian Ducrot and Johnny Marr at Ireland’s biggest beach party taking place in Bundoran from June 21-24, 2024.
Last week, adding to an already stellar line-up of music acts, Sea Sessions, the only festival to feature Beach Sports has announced the return of their incredibly popular Barefoot Beach Sports.
All proceeds for Barefoot Beach Sports will go to charity partners and event hosts Liquid Therapy, a multi award winning charity here in South Donegal.
They provide a supported environment that enables young people to experience the physical and therapeutic benefits of the surf and ocean, through our child led and individually tailored programs. Barefoot Wine has proudly supported Liquid Therapy since their inception nearly 10 years ago.
