The Glenswilly U9 panel and, inset, Conan Kelly
The Glenswilly U-9 team will be helping out a teammate tomorrow - all for a good cause.
The panel will lace up their boots on Saturday afternoon and will join Conan Kelly at training and will join him for the 2K Breast Cancer Fundraiser Run, taking place at the Glenswilly Astro running track at 3pm.

The event promises to be a special community occasion, with the rising stars of the club ready to give it their all while raising awareness for breast cancer. Supporters are encouraged to come out, cheer on the youngsters, and show solidarity with those affected by the illness. Conan, who is the son of Bernie and the late Manus, has already raised almost €1,000.
Organisers have urged the public to get behind the initiative, noting that “every step makes a difference.”
"I’m taking on the 2K a Day in October challenge for Breast Cancer Ireland — and I’d love your support," Conan wrote on his fundraising page late last month.
"Every day this October, I’ll be walking or running two kilometres to help raise awareness and vital funds for breast cancer research and support. It’s a small daily effort, but it represents something much bigger — hope, progress, and the fight to save lives. If you can, please donate or share this page to help spread the word. Together, we can make every step count. Thank you so much for your support.
