Finn Valley College, Stranorlar
Planning permission is being sought for major development works at Finn Valley College in Stranorlar.
An application to construct a new two storey extension to the south-east of the existing school has been submitted to Donegal Co Council.
The new block features a three-classroom autism spectrum disorder (ASD) unit, with associated activity, sensory, living skills and central activities room.
The plans also include three new general classrooms, and two special education teaching (SET) rooms.
As part of the development it is proposed to install solar panels on the new roof as well.
An external equipment store is also part of the plans while there is provision for the development of nine additional car parking spaces.
