Excitement is building at the Balor Arts Centre in Ballybofey as crew and cast from the Butt Drama Circle  prepare for their first Christmas pantomime for three years

This year's show is Goldilocks and The Three Bears and already five of the 12 nights are already sold out. This year's offering has been written by Rory Farrell and it's packed with all the usual music, laughter, heroic heroes and bumbling baddies that the Butt Drama Circle shows have become famous for.

Nicole Coyle who plays Goldilocks looking lost in the woods in a scene from the Butt Drama Circle's Christmas panto Goldilocks and the Three Bears which will be staged at the Balor Arts Centre, Ballybofey between tomorrow Friday, November 25 and December 10

Here's a wee taste of what you can expect. The story is set in a busy market town not that far away. Goldilocks is going about her normal day but little does she know that her uncle, Baron Farquhar and his villainess wife, Baroness Kara Van Parc, are plotting her imminent demise! They need to get their greedy hands on her inheritance before her 21st birthday!

With their evil plan underway, will their hapless henchmen Sausage and Chip manage to get the job done? They haven’t reckoned on her feisty Aunty Septic, along with her lovestruck farmhand Billy, being in on the chase to help thwart these nefarious plans.

Their daring escapade takes Aunty and Billy on an exciting journey through the deepest, darkest woods all the way to the dreaded and infamous Three Bears House. Along the way, we meet some delightful and heroic characters – along with some others who are not so delightful!

Will they end up as Bear Porridge? You'll have to come and find out!

There are 12 shows altogether and it opens tomorrow night, Friday, December 25 with seats still available. However, Saturday and Sunday, November 26 and 27 are sold out but there is still availability for Wednesday, November 30 and Thursday, December 1.

There are only 44 tickets remaining for Friday, December 2 but Saturday and Sunday, December 3 and 4 are also sold out. There is availability on Wednesday and Thursday, December 7 and 8 but only 29 tickets are left for Friday, December 9. The final night, Saturday, December 10 is also sold out.
