Safety concerns highlighted on busy Carrigart road

A number of speed limit repeaters have been put in place on a busy Carrigart road over the last number of days. People are asked to please slow down as they enter the village.

A traffic speed survey has also been installed amidst safety concerns on the road.

Deputy Joe McHugh highlighted the issue this week, he said: "When this survey is complete, I will be raising this directly with the Donegal County Council CEO John McLaughlin and Director of Roads Services Brendan O Donnell and my Colleague Cllr. Jimmy Kavanagh."
