A safety issue has been identified with a light fixture sold to Irish consumers on the Amazon platform.
According to the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC), the Leere Lighting Fixture/ Empty Lighting Fixture presents a risk of electric shock because of the lack of earthing.
The user could receive a mains voltage electric shock if they were to touch the metal part of the lamp.
The brand, batch number and barcode are unknown, however the Amazon ASIN is B07SCZDX66 and the model number is JP-7408.
There are approximately 147 affected products in the Republic of Ireland.
If you purchased one of these products please stop using the product immediately.
