Tributes have been paid to father of three, Rory Greene who died as a result of a road traffic collision in Australia.
The 41-year-old from Ardsbeg, Gortahork had been living in the Brisbane area for the last few years. He died on Wednesday last, November 30.
His sudden and untimely death has sent shockwaves through the wider Cloughaneely community.
One local resident told Donegal Live: “He was a great character, well known throughout the Cloughaneely community and further afield.
“Anyone who came across Rory always left him feeling happier than when they met him, such was his positive and chirpy demeanour.
“His loss will be felt by his many friends and of course his family.”
Cllr Michael McClafferty (Ind) extended his sympathy to those who are mourning.
He said: "I would like to express my condolences to the family at this terrible time."

“Tragic as he is only 41 and such a lovely guy. So sad for his wife and young family.”

Funeral arrangements have not yet been announced.
Mr Greene of Ardsberg, Gortahork is survived by his wife Frances, his three children Mary-Kate, Ruán and Íona; his parents, Bernard and Dorothy; his three sisters Patricia, Cairtríona and Bríd- Siobhán; his four brothers Bernard, Ciarán, Stephen and Feargal; his nieces, nephews, in-laws, aunts, uncles and a large circle of family and friends.
