Three new stadium records were set on Saturday when Finn Valley AC hosted an Athletics Ireland 'Track and Field Live' meet.
Hannah Murray of Finn Valley AC continued her good form when winning the 400m in a fine 56.51 seconds, triumphing ahead of Monaghan's Daisy Walker and Letterkenny AC's Fern Duffy.
Cara Laverty, the Finn Valley woman who is studying these days at Providence College in Rhode Island, clocked a new best mark over 800m. Laverty won in 2:12.40 and is now expected to compete on home soil for the summer months.
Finn Valley man James Kelly hit a new shot put mark when throwing out to 17.57m – the best effort recorded at the Stranorlar venue.
Aoife McGee took victory in her 100m in 13.35 seconds while Darcie Clarke won her 80m sprint in 12.53 seconds and there were wins over 60m for Finn Valley ACs' Rhia Toner, Alison Mbuli, Adam Breen, Odhran Gallagher and Matthew Lynch.

Jayden Sproule won over 800m in 2:24.64 and Paraic McGettigan impressed for a 3000m win, finishing in 10:02.69.
Rhia Toner, Ceola McGlinchey and Lucas Lindsay won 500ms races with Evan Patton victorious in a 600m event and Katie McGlinchey claiming a win over the 75m hurdles.
Stephen Slevin (1.60m) and Aoibhinn McElhinney (1.40m) were among the best of the high jumpers while Oisin Thompson touched the sand at 6.57m for a senior win while there was a notable 3.95m leap for Keisha Higgins.
The highly successful fast-paced athletics meet blends juvenile, recreational, and high-performance focused events into an exciting meet.
Track and Field Live is an AAI permitted event and was under the direction of meet director and former Irish 800m record holder David Matthews, who was impressed with the level of competition and the club facilities on the day.
The Ulster Championships for Under-12 and Under-13 will be hosted at Finn Valley AC on Sunday and the club is gearing up for a busy day of action.
There are around 700 athletes entered for a 10am start. All parking will be off road with spaces available in the adjoining fields. People are reminded that there is to be no entry onto the infield, which will be solely for athletes and officials.
Finn Valley AC athlete Ciaran McCarroll competed at the Under-18 International Mountain Running Cup held in Annecy, France at the weekend. Ciaran finished the race in 22:07.
Roisin Flanagan is scheduled to compete in a silver level meet this weekend in Portland.
Finn Valley AC's Gerard Gallagher was back in road action on Sunday in the Mayo AC 5k, clocking a sub-17 time.
