It was a weekend to savour for the Henry family from Inver at the RSA NI Summer Championship at Nutts Corner.
Joshua Henry continued his good form as the Championship returned to the iconic Nutts Corner.
The 13-year-old won two stages outright on his way to winning his class.
His father, Shane, was second overall in the main Mini field while his mother, Catriona, was third woman in the Mini Cup.
Joshua was leading outright for a while before a cooling problem dropped him to third on the last lap.
The Henrys enjoyed racing each other with Joshua giving a wry smile as he caught his mother at one stage on the track.
In the Junior Mini Cup class, young up-and-coming driver Henry followed up his performance from Aghadowey, winning the class and going third overall among the 41 finishers.
In the main Mini field, Shane Henry was second overall with Mountcharles’ Terrance Furey in fourth.
The second Donegal Junior across the line was Kade Gilchrist from Letterkenny, who was fifth overall. Robert Brockett from Letterkenny was seventh with Daniel McShane and Sean Macken and the Kennedy brothers, Matthew and Daithi, also competing.
David Furey came home in sixth while Letterkenny fireman Ronan O’Donnell scorched his way to a finish on his first Nutts Corner outing.
Mountcharles woman Marie Furey was the top Mini Cup lady home and was followed by Laugher’s Francis Spencer.
Catriona Henry was third overall while Lisa Thomas (Frosses), Nicole Bradley (Donegal Town), Rosie Weir (Donegal Town) and Josephine Kennedy (Inver) all finished well among what was a superb Donegal entry.
In the Buggy classes, Donegal’s Micheal Boyle finished second in class 13.
In class 14, Letterkenny's Jessica Orr was in action in her Casmat as were Fanad brothers Gareth and Philip Boreland in their Knicars with Dungloes Conor Comack also finishing in his Semog.
In class one, James McShea from Letterkenny was second while Jessica Halpenny marked her first Nutss Corner run with a solid outing in the Mini.
Regular RSA man Brain Kelly, in his blue Fiesta finished second in class 5 with Jack Green in his cCvic also finishing in the same class
Buncarna's Brian Quigley was out in his newly purchased Lotus in class seven, where he finished fifth. Dungloe’s Philip Greene took the bragging rights wing over Pete Greene with Portsalon's Ryan Hunter finishing in between them in his Fiesta.
The Donegal fun finished in class 9 with the battle of the Gary McEvoys in their Escorts - Gary junior finished third with Gary senior hot on his heels in fourth,
