Hannah Murray and Ireland’s 4x400m relay team finished seventh in Thursday evening’s final at the European Under-20 Championships.
Finn Valley AC woman Murray ran the second leg with Ireland finishing in 3:39.39.
Murray took the baton from Kate O’Connell with Victoria Amiadamen, and Niamh Murray also running in the final in Jerusalem.
France took gold at the Givat Ram Stadium in 3:33.31 with Netherlands (3:33.33) and Czech Republic (3:34.84) also on the podium.
Out of lane eight, Ireland were in the mix for the top five around the midway point, but closed out in seventh.
In Wednesday’s semi-final, the Irish quartet finished third in a season’s best 3:39.02.
Murray’s family and her coach, Rosemary Finn, travelled in Jerusalem to cheer her on.
Murray won gold and silver at the recent National Juvenile Championships in Tullamore.
She took gold in the 400m in 56.68 seconds, followed by silver in the 200m, edged out of top spot by a torso on the line by Aobh Forde.
