The Rambling House paused for just under three and a half minutes on Sunday evening.
Pints were put down and eyeballs all on the screen as Kelly McGrory - one of their own - ran in a final at the World Championships.
The 26-year-old is the daughter of Greg and Mary, the proprietors of The Rambling House.
Greg and Mary McGrory were at the National Athletics Centre in Budapest to cheer on their daughter, who helped Ireland finish eighth in the women’s 4x400m final.
McGrory ran with Sophie Becker, Roisin Harrison and Sharlene Mawdsley to end in 3:27.08: Eighth in the world.
McGrory ran the third leg and had also impressed in Saturday evening’s semi-final, when the Irish quartet clocked 3:26.18 - just 0.12 off the national record.
Among those in The Rambling House on Sunday evening were her brothers Craig and Lee as well as a large connections of cousins and extended family members.
