Richard Kerr with his Outstanding Achievement Award at the Irish Motorbike Awards
Kilmacrennan’s Richard Kerr won the Outstanding Achievement Award at the Irish Motorbike Awards.
Kerr was in attendance on Friday night past at the star-studded event held in the Crown Plaza Hotel in Belfast.
He was also made the shortlist for the prestigious Motorcyclist of the Year and Race of the Year. The awards are the biggest in the UK for the motorcycle fraternity. It was a fantastic achievement to be nominated alongside the best motorcyclists in the country alone but to win an award was the icing on the cake for the 23-year-old.
It capped off a fantastic year for Kerr and the AMD Motorsport team after clinching the 2023 Superstock Championship. He hopes to make an announcement soon on his plans for the 2024 season.
