Lani Lafferty of Twin Towns Boxing Club
Twin Towns Boxing Club duo Joey O’Hora and Lani Lafferty bowed out of the National Under-18 Championships on Friday night.
O’Hora and Lafferty made their exists at the semi-final stage at the National Stadium.
Middleweight O’Hora lost out to Daniel McDonagh from Geesala in one of the 75kgs semis.
The week beforehand, O’Hora defeated Danny Tsui from Star of the Sea in his quarter-final.
However, McDonagh took a 4-1 split decision win on Friday.
There was no joy either for Lafferty, who was stopped in the opening round by Kyla Doyle from Whitechurch in a 66kgs semi-final.
Their defeats ended the Donegal involvement at these Championships.
