Oisin Toye won the Ulster Intermediate Cross Country title on Sunday.
The Finn Valley AC man, who has recovered from recent injury problems, bagged an excellent gold in Belfast.
The ATU Donegal student had around six seconds to spare on Robbie Hagen from Newcastle.
Toye’s Finn Valley AC colleague Jon-Jo Doherty was third.
With Toye and Doherty on the podium, Finn Valley AC got in for team bronze medals, behind Newcastle and North Down.
Mark McGinley (10th), Shea Carlin (22nd), Gavin McCullagh (27th) and Darren Toland (30th) also scored with Ryan Porter and Barry Gallagher providing able backup.
In the masters women’s race, Leoni Cooke led the Finn Valley AC charge in fourth with her team coming in sixth. Kay Byrne in 20th was joined by Brigeen Dolan (34th) and Ita Kelly (44th).
In the intermediate women’s race, Aisling Moore of Finn Valley was fourth while Gerard Gallagher was fifth in the masters men’s race with David McNulty, Peter McMenamin and Michael Penrose also involved.
Inishowen AC duo Aileen Devlin and Sara Marie Doherty were 29th and 30th in the masters women’s race.
Pauric McKinney of Inishwowen was 22nd overall and the leading M55 in the masters men’s event, with David Porter 27th, Liam Bradley 41st, Martin McLucas 54th, Barry Donnelly 74th, Niall McGee 79th and Owenie McKinney 103rd.
