Convoy BC's Kerry Brown with her opponent, Donna McCarthy
Three Donegal boxers lost out in National Junior 1 Championship semi-finals on Friday night.
Derryveagh BC's David Tennyson, Dunfanaghy puncher Nanci McMonigle and Convoy's Kerry Brown were on the wrong end of decisions.
Tennyson missed out on a final berth after falling to Joseph Mihai from Crumlin in a 57kgs semi.
Tennyson, a gold medallist at the HSK Box Cup in Denmark last year, was beaten on a unanimous decision.
The Derryveagh lightweight made history in January when overcoming Caoilte Jones from Kilkeel to be crowned the club's first ever Ulster champion.
McMonigle lost to Templemore's Molly Doyle in a 54kgs semi-final, also on a unanimous verdict, while Brown fell at the hands of Mayfield's Donna McCarthy, who claimed a 4-1 split decision in a 57kgs bout.
