Donegal’s Eamonn Kelly alongside Conor Mohan, achieved first place in their class and seventh overall at the HYA Centre Rally in Finland last weekend. They competed in a Ford Fiesta Rally 3 as part of their ongoing preparations for Rally Finland.
It was a close race with Diego Hugo Domínguez Bejarano from Paraguay and Toni Herranen competing with the Donegal man all the way.
The upcoming Rally Finland will cover 20 stages next weekend.
Taking to social media, Kelly stated; “We’re back in the land of big speed, big jumps and big commitment. We return to WRC Finland, this time in the FAI Junior for round 4. We have fond memories from this event last year,” Kelly said.
