Inver’s Joshua Henry was crowned the winner of the 2024 ICCR Patch Tyre Equipment Junior Mini Challenge.

Henry’s rookie year could hardly have gone better.

At the weekend at Mondello Park, The Stables-backed Henry took victory to secure the Championship.

Starting second on the grid, Henry staved off Leo Richardson and Logan Hoey for the victory. Henry earned an excellent win to take the overall Championship.

“Words can not explain how happy I am,” the south Donegal teen.

“Thanks to everyone who travelled down from Donegal to watch the race. It was great to see the support.”

Last October, Henry won the Junior MINI Cup at Nutts Corner, following on from an excellent summer where he topped the pile in Aghadowey, also finishing third overall in the adult class – aged just 14.

This year Henry had multiple wins and he set the class lap record on Trac Môn, Anglesey in Wales and Mondello International Circuit.
