Letterkenny RFC were scheduled to get 2025 off the mark with a home clash with Academy

Letterkenny Rugby Club’s first fixture of 2025 will now not go ahead due to a frozen Dave Gallaher pitch. 

Academy RFC were due to travel to the north west later today but that scheduled 2.30pm kick-off has now been postponed.

Today marks the start of what Met Éireann has called a "multi-weather hazard event" with very cold conditions expected to be felt late into next week.
