Kathryn McDevitt produced a lifetime best performance in the 60m final at the European Masters Athletics Championships.
McDevitt finished sixth in the W40 60m final at the Altice Forum.
The Letterkenny AC woman clocked 8.21 seconds, a lifetime best time.
In Wednesday’s semi-final McDevitt finished in 8.35 seconds.
Irishwoman Avril Dillon was the bronze medalist in 7.88 seconds.
McDevitt still has to compete in the 200m and 4x200m relay events.
Earlier on Thursday, Finn Valley AC’s Kay Byrne came sixth in the 3000m, finishing in 12:01.61.
