Donegal crooner Daniel O’Donnell hit the high notes at his local golf course at the weekend.
The Kincasslagh country star won the weekly single stableford competition at Cruit Island Golf Course.
Daniel is a regular on the Cruit course but, due to his hectic schedule, doesn’t get to play many competitions.
However, a the weekend, Daniel won the competition, which was sponsored by local Councillor Noreen McGarvey.
“He really will have bug now having tasted victory,” a spokesperson for Cruit Island Golf Club said.
Daniel won with 45 points, beating competition from Jimmy Boyle, who was runner-up with 42 points and Brendan Ward, whose 50 points earned him fourth on a break of tie.
