Ann-Marie McGlynn finished 29th in the women’s marathon at the European Athletics Championships in Munich.
Letterkenny AC’s McGlynn came home in a season’s best 2:38:26.
McGlynn helped Ireland to fifth team with Fionnuala McCormack finishing seventh.
McCormack clocked 2:29:25 with Aoife Cooke’s 2:40:37 seeing her finish 34th.
The Ireland women’s team finished fifth overall with Germany, Spain and Poland taking the first three team positions.
Finn Valley AC’s Brendan Boyce goes in the men’s 35k race walk on Tuesday morning.
Finn Valley AC trio Mark English, Eilish Flanagan and Roisin Flanagan are in action in the Olympiastadion on Saturday.
English lines up in the 800m heats with Eilish Flanagan in the 3000m steeplechase heats and Roisin Flanagan in the 5000m final.
