GymStart success for Finesse gymnasts

Donegal's Finesse Gymnastics Club competed at the GymStart Challenge last weekend in DCU Sports Complex, Dublin.

The GymStart Challenge is a relatively new event run by Gymnastics Ireland and it gives gymnasts an opportunity to execute gymnastics floor skills appropriate to their ability levels.

The 30 participating gymnasts from the club brought home an amazing 1 Gold, 7 Silver, 13 Level Seven, 4 Level Six, 3 Level Five, 1 Level Four & 1 Level Three GymStart Challenge level medals.

Each gymnast had to perform a routine encompassing seven out of ten perfect elements in order to be awarded a medal, and all 30 of Finesse's participating gymnasts certainly did themselves, their parents and their club really proud.

This year saw over 700 gymnasts attending the event with another 700 expected at the Cork event in two weeks time.
