Shock as Donegal father dies in road traffic collision in Australia

The man had been living in Australia for a number of years

There is much sadness at news that a father of three from west Donegal has died following a road traffic collision in Australia.

Rory Greene of Ardsbeg, Gortahork, died on Tuesday last, November 29.

He is survived by his wife Frances, his three children Mary-Kate, Ruán and Íona; his parents, Bernard and Dorothy; his three sisters Patricia, Cairtríona and Bríd- Siobhán; his four brothers Bernard, Ciarán, Stephen and Feargal; his nieces, nephews, in-laws, aunts, uncles and a large circle of family and friends.

Cllr Michael McClafferty (Ind) is among those to express his condolences. 

He said: "I would like to express my condolences to the family at this terrible time."

The funeral arrangements have not yet been announced.
