Shay Given and the commemorative cap he received having made 100 international appearances for the Republic of Ireland
Shay Given today expressed his delight at having been sent his 100th Republic of Ireland cap.
Given reached the 100-cap milestone in 2009 during a World Cup qualifying match at Croke Park against Montenegro and was given the cap by Uefa and the FAI, to which he said he was "proud and honoured to have played for my country so many times."
The Lifford native made his international debut in 1996 against Russia in Dublin and his 134th and last prior to Euro 2016 in a friendly against Belarus in Cork.
