Striker Amber Barrett showcased her singing talents in front of 8,000 in Dublin as the Republic of Ireland senior women’s team returned from the World Cup.
Thousands turned out for the homecoming event on O’Connell Street. The Girls in Green flew back to Dublin on Wednesday after their World Cup adventure ended on Monday.
Entertainment was provided by TodayFM's Declan Pierce and Dave Moore, but Barrett - whose historic goal last October in Glasgow sealed qualification - was soon front and centre.
Barrett led a rousing chorus of The Wild Rover, joined by her team-mates on the stage.

Ireland drew 0-0 with Nigeria on Monday after narrow defeats to hosts Australia (1-0) and Canada (2-1).
Barrett made just one appearance across the three games, coming off the bench against Canada.
"Difficult to describe the feeling and emotions I’ve had over the last few weeks,” she posted on Instagram this week.
“I can personally say I’m disappointed with our swift exit and my personal lack of game time. But that’s football.”
In October, Barrett scored the only goal of the game in a play-off win over Scotland at Hampden Park to book Irish tickets for Australia.
Barrett said: "Looking back on it now, I can say I’m immensely proud to have represented Ireland at a World Cup, something I didn’t really think was going to be a realistic achievement in my life.
“Eventually we will look back on this tournament with pride and joy but now I think there is an element of hurt and the “what if” question, it shows the progression of this team, we want more.”
Barrett, who recently signed for Standard Liege, was joined Down Under in the squad Letterkenny woman and Hearts midfielder Ciara Grant, who was an unused substitute in the games.
Ireland manager Vera Pauw’s future is now in doubt with the Football Association of Ireland confirming that they would now undertake a comprehensive review before determining whether to stick or twist.
