Jamie Watson will be back in contention for a place in the squad when Finn Harps return to First Division action on Friday night.
Watson sat out Friday’s 5-0 win over Skerries in the FAI Cup.
The Scot also missed the 1-0 defeat by Treaty United a week earlier. While Watson made good progress in the lead-in to the Skerries game, Harps manager Dave Rogers opted for the side of caution.
“Jamie could have played, but we didn’t want to risk him,” Rogers said.
“He had a little bit of a dead leg, but he trained Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. We just felt in Wednesday’s session he looked like he was still in a little bit of discomfort.
“We have enough squad players now to come in and do a job. We have utilised the squad. Jamie will be fit and ready to go again and hopefully he’ll get a good week behind him to be ready for selection in the Longford game.”
